I happened to pick up this 15ml little serum in Debenhams for €9 and thought what the heck, I’ll try it. I think it’s about €20 or a bit more usually. L’Oreal says :

After seven years of research, L’Oréal introduces its latest innovation for younger-looking skin. The formula combines patented Pro-Xylane® with Hyaluronic Acid. Giving an Instant smoothing effect! Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, the Serum has a boosting effect on the skin’s appearance: rehydrating, smoothing and radiance-revealing. Creates an improved environment to care for new skin cells.

One little pump of this stuff day & night is a nice boost to your moisturizing regime I didn’t use oil while I was using as it really was enough with moisturizer to go to bed with. The bottle ran out a little too quickly for my taste but I guess it’s small and air tight to preserve the ingredients. This is a reasonably buy if you’re new to serums & want something to increase moisture levels, refine skin texture & plump the skin.

L’Oreal own Lancome, Vichy & a host of others so as a company they have an excellent R&D and technology to spread across their brands so it is only fair to think this shares some similarities with the higher price offerings e.g. Genefique & Youth Code are meant to be dead ringers for each other as are the Lancome & Maybelline mascaras which smell exactly the same.

If you have dry skin & you’re looking for something to plump & refine the texture of your skin – give it a twirl.
